CONCEPT:

The planning of the building and the evolution of the foot prints depends on orientation. It is designed to generate the airflow on the eastern side and to minimise the area on the west. The exterior of the structure has a dominant notice from the freeway. It was decided to incorporate the pattern of an agriculture field on to the facade of the building so as to add its iconic value.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT:

The proposed college is situated in a location closer to the river bed.

The soil type and its finesse gives rise to agriculture fields cultivated around the college building.

The planning of the building and the evolution of the foot prints silhouette solely depends on orientation.

It is designed to generate the airflow on the eastern side and to minimize the area on the west side.

It also incorporates a linear courtyard that would create natural ventilation. The form of the building is designed in such a way that one wing casts its shadow on the other creating shade as per the sun path.
